COMPUTER TRAINING SKILLS

Objective:
To assist young people to be computer literate by enhancing their employability and to be compatible in the job market.

Participants are trained in the following MODULES:

• This module is aimed at equipping students with an introduction to different components of Computers, Computer Software and Hardware, Typing skills, Introduction to Windows XP (latest version), Functions of  computers as well as Advantages and Disadvantages of Computers; Many more aspects of computers are covered.
• The duration of this Module is Seven (7) days with a commitment fee of R120.00

• This programme will enable the students to know more on word processing.  The following aspects are covered: Starting and Exiting Ms Word, Opening and Closing Documents, Mail Merge, Saving and Printing Documents, Creating Columns, Bullets and Numbering, etc.
• The duration of this Module is Four (4) days with a commitment fee of R90.00

• This Module is aimed at enabling the students on the usage of spreadsheets and learn data capturing columns and to calculate in seconds.  The following learning points such as Graphs, Formulas, Formatting Cells, Entering Cells, etc. are covered.
• The duration of this Module is Four (4) days with a commitment fee of R90.00

• This module prepares students to make professional presentations.  Students are trained to create Presentation Slides, Drawings, Charts, Graphics, Animated slides, Editing and Changing Master Layouts, etc.
• The duration of this Module is Two (2) days with a commitment fee of R90.00.

• This Module is aimed at equipping students with Data Base Skills.  Students will learn how to Capture Data Base, Create New Data Base, Creating Queries, Create Tables and Reports, etc.
• The duration of this Module is Three (3) days with a commitment fee of R90.00.

• Technology makes the world go round.  As our future is influenced by technology, this module enables students to learn how to use Internet and E-mail.  The following aspects are covered: Connecting and loading of an E-mail, Sending and Receiving Emails, Searching of information in the Internet, etc.
• The duration of this Module is one (1) day with a commitment fee of R90.00.
